We aim to build a platform that makes legal and financial knowledge more accessible, promotes awareness of rights and opportunities, and supports people in building greater independence and a better future.

Vihanya was founded with a simple belief: freedom begins with access.
The world is full of systems designed to protect, support and enable people.
But those systems can be difficult to understand and even harder to access.
Legal processes can feel intimidating.
Financial decisions can feel overwhelming.
Government schemes and institutional processes can be difficult to navigate.
Opportunities can remain invisible to those who do not know where to look.
Vihanya works at that intersection of knowledge, access and opportunity.
Our aim is simple:
To help people move from uncertainty to understanding, from understanding to action, and from action towards greater independence.
Vihanya means sky and evoking the idea of boundless freedom. That idea lies at the heart of what we do.
We believe everyone should have the freedom to understand their rights, make informed decisions and pursue a better future.
Vihanya was founded by an advocate and a chartered accountant, bringing together two complementary perspectives: an understanding of law and justice, and an understanding of finance and economic decision-making.
But Vihanya is not defined by the professions of its founders.
It is defined by a broader belief:
People are empowered when knowledge, access and opportunity are within their reach.
Our work begins with the areas we understand best, while remaining open to initiatives that can create meaningful and lasting social impact.

Where legal and financial knowledge is not limited to those who can afford professional advice. Where institutions are easier to navigate. Where communities have access to information that can change the decisions they make and the futures they build. And where empowerment means giving people the tools to move forward independently.
